About Me

I was first licensed in November, 2000 as a No-Code Tech. In 2007, after the removal of the Morse Code requirement, I upgraded to General. Life happened and I was inactive (although I kept my license renewed) up until 2020 when I got back into operating and upgraded to Amateur Extra in October, 2021.

Although CW was never a requirement for my licensing and upgrades, I have found that I love Morse Code, I also love QRP and portable operating. Those three things just seem to go hand in hand.

I am an ARRL accredited Volunteer Examiner, the current Secretary for the Hualapai Amateur Radio Club in Kingman, AZ, and I maintain the HARC website, Facebook page and groups.io. In addition, I am a member of several other clubs/organizations/groups, which you can find in the list below.
